About the Prize Competition

Before reading this page we recommend you read the ‘User Points’ section of the ‘How to use’ page, but it’s up to you!

‘Answered points’ are a way of the ‘asker’ thanking the ‘answerer’ (see ‘How to use’)

However in 2008, and as an extra thank you, I Recognise That is offering you the possibility of winning cash prizes for answering questions. It’s free to enter, and you are automatically entered when you receive an ‘Answered point’.

How does it work?

The user who receives the most ‘Answered points’ in a yearly quarter, will win the equivalent amount of ‘Answered points’ in cash! For example, 20 answered points awarded in a single quarter, will mean you win 20GBP, 50 answered points 50GBP, 100 answered points 100GBP and so on.

What’s the difference between ‘Answered points’ and quartly ‘Answered points’ that are eligible for the competition?

The only difference is that ‘Answered points’ awarded to you in one quarter of the year, are eligible for entry into the competition for that quarter only. After the end of that quarter you retain the points, as a user, however they are no longer eligle for the prize draw for the new quarter, and you start from zero.

Please always remember! To win the competition, it’s not how many questions you answer, but how many ‘Answered points’ you are awarded. This protects the clarity and accuracy of answers, and helps reduce the possibility of abusing the points for pounds process.

The top 10 entries into each quarters competition are listed on the ‘Prize entries’ page.

Thank you for your help in answering questions, and good luck in the competition!
